The husband and I made a quick getaway to the Oregon Coast this past weekend, to de-stress. I think most of the time, we stared off into space. It snowed on the way from Portland to the coast, and even snowed on the beach while we were there! Great storm watching, but minimal beach frolicking.
Without the diversion of good weather, I actually found the enormity of the ocean to be quite overwhelming! It just sits there being eternal and unchanging! "Stop making me reflect on my existence!" I shouted to it! "Ommmmm," it shouted back!
