This is me and my mom. All of my early photos feature her with a cigarette. There's a nice one of her holding me as a baby, of course, with a cigarette. Anyway, my sister and I are going to take her out for brunch and a visit to the local art museum for Mother's Day. I haven't told her this yet, but I would like to re-enact this photograph of the two of us, a before-and-after of sorts, and for this I will have to sit on her lap. Stay tuned for the "after" photo!
